Results of the Second Round of the 2024 Golf Championship - La Barra Golf Club

Last Saturday, October 12th, the second round of the 2024 Golf Championship, presented by Uruguay Sotheby’s International Realty, was held with great success at the prestigious La Barra Golf Club. This exciting tournament attracted players from across the region, who enjoyed an exceptional day where competition and passion for golf took center stage.

With three categories for men and one for women, players competed in the Medal Play format, excelling in Approach and Long Drive competitions. At the end of the tournament, participants enjoyed an exclusive cocktail reception, during which awards were presented, and a special raffle was held.

Tournament Results

Category A (Index up to 16.0):

• First Place: Rafael Gervitz with 70 strokes.
• Second Place: Luc Van Malder with 71 strokes.

Category B (Index 16.1 and above):

• First Place: Gustavo García Montini with 70 strokes (winner by automatic tiebreaker).
• Second Place: Joaquín Sorhobigarat also with 70 strokes.

Women’s Category: Unfortunately, no scorecards were submitted for the women's category on this occasion.
