Magnificent mansion in La Barra

One of the most important properties in the country.
It is built on a 5-hectare plot of fully landscaped land (the original landscaping was done by the Italian Stefano Baccari), with a habitable built area of 4,000 m2 and a total constructed area of 5,700 m2 (both approximate).

This property is located in one of the highest areas of the Golf de La Barra, with stunning views, dreamlike sunsets, and majestic spaces.

A grand entrance with palm trees, a large living room with two significant wood stoves, an impressive dining room with a wood stove, a TV room, 2 powder rooms, 2 wardrobes, a kitchen, a pantry, a service dining room, a laundry room, and 7 en-suite bedrooms with private terraces (each bedroom has more than 100 m2 with walk-in closets and private bathrooms). It also has 2 service bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and independent access. Below its spacious galleries, there is an outdoor living area and a dining room with a table for 22 people. It features a large infinity pool with 2 bathrooms, a sauna, a massage room, a gym, and provisions for a spa.

All the rooms in "Dama de la Noche" are decorated with a sophisticated and understated combination of colonial and gauchesque styles, and its walls are adorned with an impressive collection of contemporary art of Italian origin.

This majestic estate also includes a caretaker's house with a living-dining room, kitchen, laundry room, 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms.

The property also has a covered parking area for 8 cars, a vegetable garden, a machinery room, an 800 m2 basement, and a beautiful artificial lagoon. Recently, the property has adopted permaculture management principles, and its fruit tree plantations, vegetable garden, and gardens are treated organically, with its own organic waste recycling systems.

The relaxed luxury of Dama de la Noche encapsulates the informal style that is the hallmark of social life and receptions and parties in this cosmopolitan corner of Uruguay, where a cocktail at sunset can comfortably accommodate 100 people on its various terraces.
There is the possibility to expand the area with additional plots of approximately 5 ha, up to a total of 27 ha more.
